A Modern Day 'Imagine'

Thinking upon John Lennon and his most famous song... I wondered if Imagine would have the same lyrics if written today... or would it look more like this:

Imagine there’s no iPad.

It’s easy if you try.

No Steve Jobs or Apple.

Only Windows Seven.

Imagine all the people

Living with no iPhones…

Imagine there’s no Facebook.

And no Twitter too.

No status to update.

And no poking too.

Imagine all the people,

Talking face to face.

You may say I’m a sexter.

But I’m not the only one.

I hope someday you’ll join us

In the filming of two as one.

Imagine no Androids

I wonder if you can.

No apps or ringtones.

Less "connection" of man.

Imagine all the people,

Talking face to face.

You may say I’m inept at tech.

But I’m not the only one.

They hope someday we’ll join them.

And put microchips in our brains.
